The Ouseley Church Music Trust welcomes donations and legacies to enable us to make further grants to cathedrals and parish churches, to ensure the ongoing high standard of choral services.
Donations may also be made via post, sending them to The Clerk, The Ouseley Church Music Trust, PO Box 1505, Wroxham, Norwich, NR12 8TJ.
Please remember that if you are a UK tax payer, you can also complete a Gift Aid declaration Form – please click here Charity Gift Aid Declaration – single donation (publishing.service.gov.uk) which will enable the Trust to increase the value of your gift by 25%.
There are two main types of legacy: Residuary being the remainder of your estate after taxes, expenses and other legacies have been paid; and Pecuniary being a specific sum of money. The suggested wording for each type of legacy is set out below.
“I give all my property not otherwise disposed of by this my Will subject to and after payment of my funeral and testamentary expenses to the Ouseley Church Music Trust for the general purposes thereof, and I declare that the receipt of the Clerk or other proper officer thereof for the time being shall be sufficient discharge.”
“I give to the Ouseley Church Music Trust the sum of [in words] free of duty for the general purposes thereof, and I declare that the receipt of the Clerk or other proper officer thereof for the time being shall be sufficient discharge.”
